Daughter of a Voice: An Unfinished Novel
One day, I'd really like to revisit and complete this. It's a mystery novel about androids on Mars.
For the longest time, my main creative project was a science fiction work I'd called Minerva Covenant. It started out as a comic concept with my friend Bret, then evolved into more of a web novel with occasional illustrations.
As the idea evolved, I decided Minerva Covenant would be the name of the world or series, while the first main work would be a noir mystery novel titled Daughter of a Voice. As a web developer and interface designer, part of my concept was to reimagine what a novel could be if it were never intended to be printed at all. What would a novel look like if it had its own UI?
Eventually, I put the project aside to work on Veiled Age, as that seemed more commercially viable and just as enjoyable for me creatively. But, one day I'd like to return to this project and complete it. For now, you can read the first couple of chapters at the link below.
